Deal Or No Deal? Agent Quizzed On Reports Nigerian Striker Has Joined Chelsea
Published: December 22, 2019
Norwegian agent Imad El Hammichi, who handles the affairs of Bryan Fiabema, has been contacted by Norwegian television channel TV 2 to clarify reports suggesting that the Nigeria-eligible striker is heading to Chelsea in the January transfer window.
El Hammichi has confirmed allnigeriasoccer.com's exclusive report that the Tromso wonderkid has yet to sign on the dotted line for the Stamford Bridge outfit, adding that his client impressed the coaching staff during his trial period.
"I will neither confirm nor deny anything. But Bryan has made a good impression and we are in the process," said El Hammichi.
El Hammichi works for London-based agency First Access Sports who look after Chelsea's Nigerian youngsters Faustino Anjorin and Ike Ugbo, as well as first-teamer Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Tromso's General Manager, Kristian Høydal has refused to confirm or deny whether an agreement has been reached with Chelsea for the transfer of Fiabema.
Several European clubs, including SPAL in Italy, were interested in signing the 2003-born striker before Chelsea emerged as frontrunners to sign the Norwegian-Nigerian.
