Burnley Join Southampton In Showing Interest In Queens Park Rangers' Nigerian Dazzler
Published: January 26, 2020
Burnley are the latest Premier League club linked with a move for Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to reports.
The Sun journalist Alan Nixon claims The Clarets are monitoring the Queens Park Rangers dazzler and he could be a possible acquisition in the January transfer window or at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
Burnley face competition for the services of Osayi-Samuel, with Southampton also credited with an interest in the former Blackpool wonderkid.
A possible swap deal between Burnley and Queens Park
Rangers may be on the cards as the Championship side are interested in
signing Nahki Wells, who was loaned out by the Clarets to the London club.
The 22-year-old has lit up the Championship this season, scoring 4 goals and has produced five assists in 20 matches, and also featured in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
Predominantly a right winger, Osayi-Samuel can also be utilized in midfield if the need arises.
He joined Queens Park Rangers from Blackpool in September 2017 and has a contract with the club until the end of the season.
