Liverpool loanee Ojo reveals what he'll bring to the table after deadline day move to Millwall
Published: September 04, 2021Nigeria Football Federation target Sheyi Ojo is gearing up to make his competitive debut for Millwall after sealing a deadline day move to the Championship club.
The Liverpool-owned winger has joined the Lions on loan for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season, with the deal completed just before the 2300 hours deadline on Tuesday, August 31.
Ojo is thankful to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp for allowing him go out on loan to play some football after he was declared surplus to requirements.
The 2017 U20 World Cup winner is itching to play his first game for Millwall when they visit Semi Ajayi's West Brom after the international break.
Ojo, who has 91 games under his belt in the Championship, has revealed what he will bring to the current Millwall team.
"Courage to get on the ball as much as I can, beat players and get a few goals and assists. I want to help my team in any way I can," Ojo said to Millwall's official website.
"I've been a team player over the last few years and I'm looking to do that again and progressing even further."
Ojo will be wearing the number 14 on the back of his jersey during his loan spell at Millwall.
