West Ham U23 star Okoflex suggests own goal scored by Man Utd captain belongs to him

West Ham's Irish-Nigerian winger Armstrong Okoflex has suggested that the own goal scored by Manchester United U23 captain Teden Mengi in a Premier League 2 clash on Saturday belongs to him.
Several websites providing live scores have given the goal to Okoflex, but West Ham United took it off him and put it down as an own goal.
Okoflex thought he had scored his second of the game after his cross was deflected in by Mengi just before half-time.
It would have meant the summer signing from Glasgow Celtic bagged a hat-trick if the goal was added to his tally having converted two spot kicks he won in the 5th and 47th minute.
Speaking to West Ham's official website post-match, Okoflex said : "It's my goal! There’s nothing else I can do – I want the goal, I want goals and assists – so that’s my thought on it!"
Okoflex has netted a hat-trick this term, against his former employers Arsenal on the opening day of the Premier League 2 season.
The 19-year-old also found the net against the first team of Ipswich Town in the EFL Trophy and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League 2.
