Hoffenheim reveal exact nature of injury suffered by Super Eagles defender

There is a question mark over the availability of Kevin Akpoguma for Hoffenheim's next domestic fixture, against Holstein Kiel in the second round of the DFB Pokal on Tuesday, October 26.

The former Germany U20 skipper had to be replaced in the 26th minute of the 4-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Bayern Munich two days ago.

What is clear is that Hoffeinhem have reported through their official website that the 26-year-old has suffered a facial contusion but the club did not disclose his estimated return date.
