Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has taken a big step on his road to
recovery ahead of the national team's upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifying
matches against Liberia and Cape Verde.
After taking a day off following the win vs Salernitana,
the Serie A table toppers resumed training on Tuesday at the SSC Napoli
Konami Training Center and the Nigeria national teamer attended the
session.
In their training update, Napoli wrote on their official website that Osimhen did personalized work on the pitch.
The
number 9 suffered a right calf injury in training before the meeting
with Salernitana and tests carried out on the Nigerian suggests that the
injury is not serious.
However, he is unlikely to be available for Thursday's matchday four Europa League fixture against Legia Warsaw.
