'Big game, I'll be there' - CAF President confirms his attendance for battle of the Eagles Confederation of African Football President Patrice Motsepe has confirmed that he will be in attendance for the round of sixteen clash between Nigeria and Tunisia on Sunday evening.

The glamour clash of the round of sixteen at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations sees two of the top five ranked African countries face off at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua.

Nigeria were convincing in the group stage, winning all their three matches whereas their opponents struggled with only one win and qualified as one of best third placed teams.

The Super Eagles' form means they head into the fixture as favourites and they are unbeaten in five previous meetings against the north Africans in the Africa Cup of Nations excluding shootouts, with three wins and two draws.

Speaking to Mosaique FM on Saturday, Motsepe said : "Big game, I will be there. Two nations with a proud football history and I'm confident that whichever proceeds will make us very proud."

Nigeria versus Tunisia kicks off at 2000 hours and the game will be officiated by Senegalese Maguette N'Diaye.
