West Ham, Crystal Palace, Lille interested in Chelsea-reared defender Ola Aina
Published: February 15, 2022
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that Torino are willing to listen to offers for Chelsea-reared defender Ola Aina in the summer transfer window.
Those upstairs at Torino have opened talks with Aina and his minders on his exit from the Italian Serie A club in the coming months.
The Super Eagles star will enter the final twelve months of his contract in July and Torino will put him on the transfer market if he does not sign a new deal.
French champions Lille are interested in signing Aina but are facing competition from West Ham United and Crystal Palace for his services.
The former England U19 skipper has Premier League experience under his belt, making 31 appearances during a loan spell with Fulham in 2020-2021 and appeared in three matches for Chelsea in their last title-winning season.
Aina earned plaudits for his performance at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations, where he went the distance in three of the four matches played by the national team, missing only the dead rubber clash against Guinea-Bissau.
In 87 career appearances for Torino, he 25-year-old has been involved in seven goals (1 goal, 6 assists).
