West Ham targeting summer move for Anglo-Nigerian central defender
Published: March 16, 2022
English Premier League side West Ham United are reportedly targeting a summer move for Anglo-Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
Football League World says the Hammers have the Fulham star on their radar ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
Adarabioyo had a release clause of ten million pounds after Fulham were demoted from the Premier League at the end of last season and it is claimed that the release clause will come into play for a very brief period at the start of the next transfer window.
West Ham boss David Moyes is targeting a center-back to reinforce his defensive options with Arsenal loanee William Saliba and Liverpool star Joe Gomez also mentioned as possible candidates.
Adarabioyo has played a huge part in Fulham's push for the Championship title, making 33 appearances - all of which he started - and has scored two goals.
The Manchester City academy product has proved that he can play at a high level as he was a key member of the Cottagers team that competed in the Premier League in 2020-2021.
