Former Golden Eaglets invitee named in official Championship Team of the Week

2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei has been named in the official Championship Team of the Week, powered by Whoscored.com ratings.
The Hale End Academy product was in action for ninety minutes for the Rams side that caused an upset by beating Premier League-bound Fulham 2-1 at the Pride Park Stadium on Good Friday.
Though Ebiowei wasn't on the scoresheet, he came close to scoring in the 90th minute when his powerful low drive from the edge of the area was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Rodak.
And in the first half, the attacking midfielder showed his ability to go past defenders.
In a 3-5-2 formation, Ebiowei has been deployed as the right sided midfielder - pretty much the same role he had in the come from behind win against the Cottagers.
The 18-year-old made a team-high two key passes against Fulham, played one shot which was on target and completed seven dribbles - one more than the entire team of Fulham.
Looking at his defensive statistics, the Nigerian registered a team-high two tackles, made one interception and committed two fouls.
