Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of Nigeria-eligible players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Watford's dismal home form continued as they were beaten 2-1 by Burnley at Vicarage Road - their eleventh straight loss at home, a new top-flight record.

Emmanuel Dennis played the full game for the Hornets but could not add to his tally; William Troost-Ekong and Samuel Kalu were non-playing substitutes, while Oghenekaro Etebo didn't make the squad.

The opening goal came in the eighth minute when Kiko Femenía's cross was struck against the bar by Juraj Kucka but rebounded against James Tarkowski and ended up in the net.

With seven minutes to go, the Clarets got a deserved equaliser through Jack Cork and they turned the game around thanks to Josh Brownhil who found the bottom corner in the 86th minute.

At Villa Park, England U19 international Tim Iroegbunam made his full Premier League debut as Aston Villa claimed a 2-0 win over Norwich City.

Five minutes before halftime, Ollie Watkins latched on to a long ball and rifled into the roof of the net and Danny Ings confirmed Norwich City's relegation with the winner in stoppage time.

Iroegbunam was cautioned in the 61st minute for bringing down Pierre Lees-Melou, and twelve minutes later the central midfielder was replaced by Douglas Luiz, a decision that meant Carney Chukwuemeka was an unused substitute.

At the St Mary's Stadium, Wilfred Zaha scored a stoppage time winner as Crystal Palace came from behind to defeat Southampton 2-1.

The Saints took the lead through Romeu's ninth minute header but Eberechi Eze equalised with a low strike in the 59th minute.

The 2017 Super Eagles invitee started and was in action for 84 minutes, Michael Olise played the last sixteen minutes and Nathan Tella logged eighty minutes.
