The official website of Chelsea has confirmed that Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel and their legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech were in attendance at Cobham Training Centre to watch the U18 Premier League clash between Chelsea and Crystal Palace on Saturday, April 30 which ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Tuchel ran the rule over Chelsea U18 strikers of Nigerian descent Tudor Mendel-Idowu and Louis Flower and they didn't disappoint the watching German football tactician with the duo getting their names on the scoresheet in the first half.
A third Blues player of Nigerian descent, Prince Adegoke, who was invited to the Golden Eaglets squad ahead of the 2019 U17 World Cup, was an unused substitute.
As for Crystal Palace, goalkeeper Owen Goodman, Victor Akinwale and Ademola Ola-Adebomi were on parade at Cobham.
