Published: May 05, 2022
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira ran the rule over talented Flying Eagles-eligible centre-forward Ademola Ola-Adebomi (as pictured) this week ahead of their Premier League meeting with Watford.
Aged 18, Ola-Adebomi was invited to train with Crystal Palace first team stars such as Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise following his outstanding performances for the U18s.
Vieira is observing the Anglo-Nigerian with a view to handing him his senior debut in the coming months, if not before the end of the 2021-2022 campaign.
Ola-Adebomi has netted an impressive 18 goals in twenty-six appearances for the U18 team so far this season.
He signed his first professional contract with the Eagles last month, ten years after joining the club as a schoolboy.
A powerful striker in the mould of Romelu Lukaku, Ola-Adebomi was among the Nigeria-eligible youngsters that helped Palace win the Premier League Floodlit Cup in 2019, the others being Victor Akinwale and Tayo Adaramola.
Adaramola, who has made two appearances for Palace first team this season, was also involved in the training session.
