Manchester-born defensive midfielder of Nigerian and Polish descent Maximillian Oyedele helped Manchester United to win the prestigious FA Youth Cup on Wednesday evening after they defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 at Old Trafford.
Manchester United U18 coach made a double change in the 64th minute with Oyedele and Hugill replacing McNeill and Hansen.
Legendary Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson attended the FA Youth Cup final.
Club captain Harry Maguire and other first team stars such as goalkeeper David de Gea, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay were spotted in the stands to lend their support to the young Red Devils.
England U19 international of Nigerian descent Shola Shoretire, who is age-eligble to represent United in the FA Youth Cup but was not selected as he has been fully promoted to the U23 squad, was also at the match at Old Trafford.
Manchester United took the lead as Rhys Bennett headed in Sam Murray's free-kick in in the 13th minute but Powell found the bottom corner with a left-footed drive to equalise just before halftime.
On 77 minutes, Garnacho converted from 12 yards to make it 2-1 after Nottingham Forest defender Zach Abbott gave away a penalty, and the United striker netted his second of the evening in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Oyedele was involved in all the six matches played by United in this season's FA Youth Cup, scoring once against Scunthorpe in the third round.
