Done deal : East Stirlingshire loan in highly-rated Madrid-born Nigerian striker from Airdrieonians
Published: February 25, 2023
Scottish Lowland League club East Stirlingshire have announced the temporary signing of highly-rated Madrid-born Nigerian striker Bright Osemudiamen Prince Okosun.
The 17-year-old Bright will be spending the remainder of the 2022-2023 season at East Stirlingshire, on loan from parent club Airdrieonians.
Bright has been loaned out to experience the rigors of senior football after he was rewarded with a first team contract at Airdrieonians last month.
He previously represented top European sides Getafe and Fortuna Dusseldorf before joining Airdrieonians in the summer transfer window.
The towering forward has managed 11 goals in 13 games for Airdrieonians U18 side in the Advanced Youth 18's League this season.
East Stirlingshire play in the fifth tier of Scottish football and their next game in the division is against high-flying Spartans FC on Saturday afternoon at Ainslie Park.
Blessed with speed and physicality, Okosun has also represented the youth teams of VFR Fischeln, KFC Uerdingen 05 and Summerston YFC.
