Iheanacho spot-on to help Leicester climb out of relegation zone with win against Wolves

Kelechi Iheanacho was on target for Leicester City as they came from behind to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Premier League game at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Matheus Cunha gave Wolverhampton Wanderers the lead in the 13th minute when he shot into the bottom left-hand corner.

Iheanacho restored parity in the 37th minute from the penalty spot after Wolves goalkeeper, Jose Sa was adjudged to have fouled Jamie Vardy.

Four minutes into the first half extra time, Iheanacho had the chance to give the Foxes the lead but was denied by Jose Sa.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had the chance to give the home side the lead in the early stages of the second half but couldn't hit the target.

It was Timothy Castagne that would give Leicester the lead after he received a brilliant pass from Victor Kristiansen and the goal would prove to be the winning goal for Dean Smith's men.

Iheanacho was brought off in the 67th minute for his compatriot Wilfred Ndidi. The former Manchester City striker has now scored 5 goals and registered 4 assists for Leicester City in the Premier League this season.

The win takes Leicester City out of the relegation zone but they are level on points with Everton who occupy the first relegation spot.
