Awoniyi and Eze join Liverpool and Man Utd stars in BBC's PL Team of the Week
Published: May 16, 2023Taiwo Awoniyi and Eberechi Eze have been selected by BBC pundit, Garth Crooks in his Premier League Team of the Week for matchday 36.
The duo starred for Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest respectively over the weekend and are joined by Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial and seven others.
Eze bagged a brace in Crystal Palace's 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday, thereby taking his goal tally for the season to 10.
Awoniyi on the other hand also notched a brace as Nottingham Forest battled to a 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
Brighton have the most representatives in the team with three players, followed by Manchester City with two players, while Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have one apiece.
