Published: May 18, 2023
Victor Osimhen is among the three players shortlisted by Paris Saint-Germain to support Kylian Mbappé in attack next season.
This is according to TyC Sports, via Tuttomercatoweb which confirmed that Osimhen has been earmarked alongside Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani and Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane as targets for the Ligue 1 champions.
Per the report, PSG have decided to allocate 100 million euros to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international has excelled for Napoli this season and is topping the scoring charts in the Italian Serie A.
He has tallied 23 goals in 29 games which is the most of any player in the Italian top flight.
With two years left on his contract, Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis will be willing to sell the Nigerian forward provided PSG meet his transfer valuation which has been reported to be €160 million.
PSG will have to fight off the interest of Bayern Munich, the Premier League duo of Manchester United and Chelsea who are all interested in his services.
Muani and Kane are also on the shortlist of the French club following their exploits for Eintracht Frankfurt and Tottenham this season.
The former has 22 goals and 15 assists while the latter has recorded 29 goals and 5 assists in all competitions so far this season.
