Terem Moffi returned on Saturday to the place where his OGC Nice career truly began, exactly 314 days after his last competitive match—a hard-fought 2-2 draw away to Lille on May 19, 2024.

After completing his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury, Moffi came off the bench in the 83rd minute of the derby at the Stade Louis II.
He enjoyed a solid 15-minute return to competitive football, much to the delight of his club and its fans.
The former Lorient made made his comeback seven matches to the end of the season and with OGC Nice competing for one of the Champions League spots.
After Saturday's game at Monaco, Moffi took to Instagram to express his gratitude and share his emotions with fans following his return to competitive football.
"I can only say thank you Lord Jesus for everything! See you guys next week,” he wrote.
As he looks ahead to the upcoming matches, Moffi’s return is a significant boost for Nice, adding firepower to their attacking options.
Fans will be eager to see him build on this moment and make a greater impact in the business part of the season.
Since his arrival in France, Moffi has found the net 55 times in 143 games, 20 of which were for OGC Nice.
