Hull City release February's Goal of the Month winner eyeing Flying Eagles call-up
Published: May 18, 2025
Championship outfit Hull City have officially announced their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2024–2025 season, with 13 U21 players set to depart the club when their contracts expire on June 30.
Among those released is attacking midfielder Brandon Harriman-Annous, a former Arsenal Hale End Academy product and winner of Hull City's February Goal of the Month award for a stunning strike against Coventry City U21s.
Harriman-Annous joined the Tigers last August after impressing during a trial spell and quickly made an impact at youth level.
Though he did not feature for the senior team in competitive matches, the 18-year-old earned a call-up to first-team training in January 2025.
The midfielder, who is eligible to represent Nigeria, Ghana, England and Lebanon, has expressed a strong desire to play for Nigeria's Flying Eagles and is aiming for selection in the squad for the 2025 Fifa U20 World Cup.
Brandon is the older brother of Arsenal youth prospect Andre Harriman-Annous and previously had stints at MK Dons, Aldershot Town and Brentford before arriving at Hull City.
Meanwhile, central defender Calvin Okike will enter the second year of his scholarship with Hull City in July.
The other U21 players released by Hull City include Shea Callister, Jaedyn Chibanga, Kyle Fanning, Owen Foster, Cameron Gray, Sincere Hall, Paul Iggulden, Jake Leake, Jack Leckie, Jevon Mills, Alfie Taylor and George Wilson.
