Adesina brothers depart Chelsea: Attacker joins Spurs academy, midfielder off to Man City youth
Published: July 03, 2025
Jeremiah Adesina is set to follow in his younger brother's footsteps by ending his association with Premier League side Chelsea, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Adesinas are eligible to represent England at international level as well as the Future Eagles through their Nigerian father Ade Adesina.
After four years at Chelsea, Ezekiel Adesina opted to begin a new chapter in his career by joining Tottenham Hotspur on schoolboy terms at the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Ezekiel Adesina, who is an attacker by trade, impressed at a youth tournament in Greece last year, scoring ten goals for Chelsea and helping the team return home with the trophy.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester City are on the verge of adding another player to their academy ranks, with a deal for Chelsea U15 midfielder Jeremiah Adesina nearing completion.
The Italian transfer expert further revealed that an agreement is already in place for Jeremiah Adesina to make the switch to Manchester City's academy team.
Predominantly a central midfielder, Jeremiah also offers versatility by slotting in at fullback when required.
Academy players of Nigerian descent Isaiah Dada-Mascoll, Femi Fapetu, Justin Oboavwoduo and Michael Okeke have been retained by Manchester City for the 2025-2026 season.
