Chelsea showing interest in Arsenal attacker on the radar of Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle

Chelsea are monitoring the situation of Ethan Nwaneri, the young Arsenal attacker following prolonged discussions about contract extension with the Gunners in the summer, according to Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
Nwaneri, who had a breakthrough campaign with the Gunners last season, has been negotiating with the Gunners to extend the contract beyond the summer of 2026.
The 18-year-old, who is monitored by Eric Chelle, the Super Eagles manager, scored nine goals and provided two assists in 37 matches in all competitions.
Despite his desire to remain at the club beyond his current contract, Nwaneri is reportedly seeking assurances over regular playing time, especially as Arsenal continue their push to sign a midfielder and a winger to bolster the squad.
The Gunners have reportedly agreed on personal terms with Noni Madueke and are also showing interest in signing Eberechi Eze to strengthen the team.
With Arsenal struggling to reach an agreement with the young attacker, Chelsea are monitoring the situation of the youngster and will express interest should negotiations between the parties fail.
The discussion will be a separate deal from the deal potentially linking Noni Madueke to the Emirates Stadium.
As the summer window heats up, Arsenal will hope to tie Nwaneri to a long-term contract and avoid losing another young talent to a Premier League rival.
