Everton announce winger has signed new deal and is eligible to represent Nigeria

Everton have announced that Coby Ebere has signed a new two-year deal, valid until June 2027 through a statement on the club's official website.
Ebere joined Everton’s academy at the age of 11 and has since progressed through the ranks, becoming an important player for the club’s U18 and U21 teams.
He is a right-footed versatile forward who thrives on his pace and strength to go take on opposing defenders and beat his markers.
Although the promising forward is yet to make his first-team debut for the Liverpool-based club, manager David Moyes included him in the squad for the Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace, where he remained an unused substitute.
While announcing the new contract, Everton revealed that the forward is eligible to represent three countries at international level, including Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
"Ebere, who was born in Germany and is also eligible to represent England and Nigeria, had a challenging 2024/25, missing the first half of the Premier League 2 season with a hamstring injury before making his return to Paul Tait's squad in January and netting his first goal of the season against Cardiff City the following month," the Toffees wrote.
Ebere was restricted to just eight appearances for Everton U21s last season due to a hamstring injury earlier in the season.
He returned to action in the second half of the campaign, contributing two goals and two assists for Everton U21s across the Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup.
