Oguntolu and Osayande sign first professional contracts with Derby County

Two Nigerian players are among eight youngsters who have signed their first professional contracts with Derby County, the club confirmed via their official website.
Two years after signing scholarship deals with Derby County, Justin Oguntolu and Adisa Osayande have signed on the dotted line to continue their journeys with the club.
Oguntolu and Osayande have been promoted to Derby County's development squad ahead of the upcoming season after impressing at U18 level.
While Oguntolu joined Derby County at U16 level, Osayande has been on the books of the club since U9 level.
Striker Oguntolu has been rewarded with a new deal after registering 20 goal involvements (14 goals, 6 assists) in 33 matches across the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2, FA Youth Cup and Premier League Cup last term.
Osayande impressed for Derby County youth teams last season, contributing two goals and an assist in 16 league appearances for the U18s while operating at the heart of the defence.
The commanding centre-back also featured regularly for the U21s, making 10 appearances in Premier League 2 as he successfully began the transition between the two age groups.
Derby County U21s, led by head coach Danny Maye, will once again compete in Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup during the 2025/26 season.
