Arsenal icon Jack Wilshere watches Harriman-Annous score brace in 5-goal thriller v Wolves U21s

Quad-national forward Andre Harriman-Annous was the star of the show as Arsenal came from two goals down to secure a 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Premier League 2 clash on Saturday.

According to Arsenal youth team guru Jeorge Bird, Arsenal legend Jack Wilshere was in attendance at Meadow Park.

Wilshere, who previously coached Arsenal U18s, is currently unemployed following his departure from Norwich City at the end of last season.

The former England international was a contender for the U21s coaching role at Arsenal last month but turned down the job as he is focused on securing a first-team management position.

After Wolves raced into a two-goal lead courtesy of goals from Tawanda Chirewa and Mateus Mané , Harriman-Annous ignited the fightback with a brilliant finish on 58 minutes before Max Dowman weaved past five Wolves to level.

The contest looked destined for a draw until the 99th minute when Harriman-Annous held his nerve from the penalty spot to secure victory.

The forward had been lively throughout, twice linking up dangerously with Seb Ferdinand in the opening exchanges.

Against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Harriman-Annous registered his first-ever Premier League 2 brace, achieved in his 15th game in the division.

Harriman-Annous is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, Ghana, Lebanon and England.
