Cold Birthday For LUKMAN HARUNA
Published: December 05, 2012
Lukman Haruna, who was involved for 90 minutes in Dynamo Kiev's 1 - 1 draw with Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, celebrated his 22nd birthday on Tuesday.
The former Under 17 world champion with the Golden Eaglets has shared his thoughts and impressions on the game.
Lukman told the official website of Dynamo Kiev: ''It was a very difficult match for severe weather conditions, heavy snowfall. We have for a long time adjust to the field. We did not play very well, also missed the victory in the dying seconds of the game and were very upset ...
''I am very happy about this holiday, but I'm upset that we failed to achieve a positive result in the game against Dinamo Zagreb.I am grateful to the team and president of the club for their support and congratulations.''
Naturally, Lukman Haruna is disappointed that Dynamo Kiev failed to progress to the knock out rounds of the Champions League, but wants the team to do well in the Europa League.
''Of course, our team was eager to get into the next round. Alas, did not happen, but it does not mean you have to give up. It is important to concentrate on performances in the Europa League next spring and make this tournament a positive result.''
