Sunshine Stars stopper and Nigeria international Godfrey Oboabona could be on his way to the Ukrainian championship before the close of the transfer window on March 1, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.

The 23 - year - old central defender is attracting concrete interest from at least two clubs in the Ukrainian Premier League.

Oboabona's imperious displays for the Super Eagles at the just concluded African Cup of Nations has not gone unnoticed in the Eastern European country.

In fact, all the top flight clubs in the championship were advised to make a bid for Oboabona by scouts that closely monitored him at the tournament.
