It is now an open secret that Nigeria international Michael Eneramo failed a medical examination conducted by Besiktas last week.
However, the signing of the 27 - year - old hit-man, who had also attracted interest from Trabzonspor, Bursaspor and Rizespor, has not been put in the drawer by the leadership of the Black Eagles.
Eneramo has showed his class since he arrived Turkey two - and - a - half years ago from Tunisian club Esperance.
The free agent is one of the priorities of manager Slaven Bili in the ongoing transfer window.
Today, Eneramo's second test result will be known and Besiktas are expected to make a final decision on whether to offer him a contract or withdraw their proposal.
It was discovered that the Super Eagles forward has a heart defect in the previous examination.
