Bosnia Manager, Safet Susic Says He Has Super Eagles Dossier
Published: April 27, 2014
Bosnia Herzegovina National Team manager Saftet Susic thinks the Dragons will qualify for the second round of the World Cup ahead of Nigeria because he has the dossier of the Super Eagles.
The coach is expected to announce his squad list for the mundial on May 5, and he has admitted to having a selection headache nominating the 23 players that will be on the plane to Brazil.
“I have a lot of information about Nigeria and Iran. I’ll watch some of their matches, but the day after our match with Argentina they play each other, and I’ll look at that game.
“Most important thing is to see them, because their tactics a few months ago might not be used against us.
“Argentina is one of the favorites of the World Cup, Nigeria has a good football team, and Iran have never won.
“It is going to be a big fight for second place, but I think we have a real chance to qualify to the second round,” Safet Susic told the Bosnian media.
Nigeria will square off with Bosnia in her second group game on June 21 at Arena Pantanal (Cuiabá, Mato Grosso).
