Ex Atletico Madrid Striker Sani Abubakar Sent To Reserve Team

Polish club Okocimski KS Brzesko have sent Sani Abubakar to their reserve team, who play in the regional league.

Abubakar, an attacker appeared 25 times in the third - tier last term, scoring once in the 2 - 1 win over Puszcza Niepołomice in August 2014.

Before the start of the 2015 - 16 season, the Polish Federation had imposed a limit on the number of foreign players that can be used in the league and this has affected the Nigerian.

The 29 - year - old represented the youth teams of Atlético Madrid and Getafe before he came to Poland in the 2011 - 12 season.

A product of SC Pyramid Plateau (Jos), Sani Abubakar played first - team football for Spanish sides CF Pozuelo de Alarcón , CD Coslada,   UD Vecindario and CF Pozuelo de Alarcón.
