Italy’s authoritative sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport has published on its official webpage the net salaries of all the footballers playing in the Serie A.
The highest paid Nigerian player in the Italian top flight is Joel Obi, who takes home 500,000 euros at Torino every season.
The Super Eagles midfielder is the seventh best paid player at Torino behind Quagliarella, Amauri, Belotti, Maxi Lopez, Moretti and Glik.
Eddy Onazi collects €300,000 net salary from the Biancocelesti per season but he is one of the worst paid players at his club.
Of the 29 players listed including top earner Klose, who takes home €2 million p.a, the Nigerian midfielder occupied 25th spot.
