Spurs Midfielder Alli Says England Will Go For A Win Against Slovakia

Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli has stressed that England need to win their final group game against Slovakia on Monday, June 20th to be one hundred percent certain of progressing to the knockout rounds of the European Championship.
Though the player of Nigerian descent has played down the Three Lions’ chances, they are well placed to reach the last 16 nonetheless, thanks to their 2-1 win over Wales on Thursday afternoon in Lens.
“It’s important that we understand that the job isn’t finished yet, we still have to go into the final game and try to win it, so that’s what we’ll look to do,” said Dele Alli to tottenhamhotspur.com.
The former MK Dons starlet was involved in the game-winner netted by Sturridge against Wales and has expressed happiness that England won their first game in France after drawing their opener with Russia.
“The feeling was indescribable. Obviously after the disappointment from the Russia game it was important we bounced back and got the win!
“And we did that, now we focus on the next game, ” Alli added.
The youngster has gone the distance in both matches contested by England at the European championship.
