No Fairytale Debut For Watford New Striker Isaac Success
Published: July 10, 2016
Former Nigeria U17 international Isaac Success made his debut for Watford in their 1-1 draw against National League side Woking in a pre-season fixture on Sunday evening.
The 20-year-old penned a five-year deal with the Hornets earlier this month but arrived in England on Friday after he was issued a visa.
Having started on the bench, Isaac Success made his Watford bow in the 67th minute when he replaced central defender Tommie Hoban.
It was not a fairy tale debut for the former Granada striker as he fired blanks in his first game, though it should be noted that he has trained for only two days with his new teammates.
Odion Ighalo and Scotland international Ikechi Anya made the Hornets starting line-up and the Super Eagles striker subbed out before the start of the second half.
