New Kelechi Iheanacho Begins Showing Off His Skills At Kalmar
Published: July 28, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Paul Francis, hailed
as the new Kelechi Iheanacho, has landed in Sweden, where he will
undergo trials with Allsvenskan side Kalmar.
The teenager, who departed Nigeria on Tuesday night, will have his first training session with the Red Brothers this morning.
Kalmar sporting director Thomas Andersson-Borstam was impressed with the striker’s youthfulness and recommended that he will have to train with the U19 squad instead of the first team.
Paul Francis has been issued multiple entry visas to Sweden that will expire in September.
If the 18-year-old is offered a contract, he will follow in the footsteps of Abiola Dauda, who wore the colours of Kalmar from 2008-2012.
