Nigerian Goalkeeper Okonkwo Dropped From Arsenal UEFA Youth League Roster

The highly rated Nigerian goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo will no longer take part in the group stage of the UEFA Youth League after Arsenal replaced him in their squad for the competition, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
In the Gunners updated squad list published by the official website of Europe’s football governing body, Okonkwo has been replaced by the new signing from Celtic, Alex Crean.
Five players of Nigerian ancestry retained their places in the roster : Tolaji Bola, Joseph Olowu, Tobi Omole, Xavier Amaechi and Aaron Eyoma.
The 15-year-old Okonkwo, an England youth-teamer, was not involved in Arsenal’s first two matches in the UEFA Youth League, against PSG and Basel.
This season, he was a non-playing substitute in U18 Premier League fixtures against Southampton and Chelsea last month.
