Swedish Club Kalmar Confirm Interest In Nasarawa United Star Igbinoba

Swedish Allsvenskan club Kalmar have confirmed that they are keeping tabs on Nasarawa United midfielder Eseosa Igbinoba.
However, Sporting Director Thomas Andersson-Borstam has played down talk that a transfer is imminent, arguing that the Nigeria Professional Football League star will only be an alternative in the event that they bid farewell to some midfielders in their ranks.
“There is a player we are following, who was selected for the All-Star team in Nigeria in their highest league, ” said Andersson-Borstam to fotbollskanalen.se.
“That’s right. Further than that, we are not today. You are a little too fast, we have followed, but more than that it is not.
“He is a central midfielder. Can play of what we have seen balanced, offensive, and box to box. So far we have not seen him live, and right now we have a fantastic good set of central midfielders.”
Kalmar are thought to be in the market for a midfielder, with Rasmus Elm and Ishmael linked with an exit from the Guldfågeln Arena at the end of this season.
