AFC Wimbledon Monitoring Ex-Stoke City Striker James Alabi
Published: April 23, 2017
EFL League One outfit AFC Wimbledon are mulling over a summer move for the in-form Nigerian striker James Alabi, 22.
Undercover Chester , who is close to Chester, claims that a representative of The Dons was sighted at The Borough Sports Ground (Surrey), venue of the National League clash between Sutton United and Chester.
When the AFC Wimbledon scout was asked for the specific player he came to observe, he answered he was watching James Alabi.
He will go back with positive reports about the former Stoke City youth-teamer, who netted two late goals in Chester's 5-2 loss to Sutton United.
Alabi previously played for Scunthorpe United, Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers, Accrington Stanley, Ipswich Town and Grimsby Town.
