Stevenage join race for Crystal Palace striker who trained with Flying Eagles in 2023
Published: June 30, 2025
League One side Stevenage are making a serious push to win the race to sign Crystal Palace academy product Ademola Ola-Adebomi this summer ahead of other EFL clubs, according to The Mirror's Daniel Marsh.
He is set to end his stay at Crystal Palace after entering the last year of his deal with the London club.
The talented forward was called up to train with the Flying Eagles in 2023 but failed to make the squad for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
As previously reported, the 21-year-old has also attracted interest from C.D. Santa Clara and FK Radnicki.
Scottish Premiership side Motherwell, as well as Bromley, Cambridge United and Colchester in the Football League Two, are all reported to be interested in the left-footed striker.
Ola-Adebomi spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan at SK Beveren in the Belgian Challenger Pro League.
He made nine appearances in total, failing to make a direct goal contribution.
He returned to his fine scoring form for Crystal Palace development squad after his loan deal was cut short.
In his 13 appearances, he scored 12 goals and provided one assist to wrap up his season.
