Norwich City In Three-Way Battle To Sign Very Intelligent Nigerian Midfielder
Published: May 10, 2017
Norwich City are looking to sign highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Tom Adeyemi, according to reports.
Adeyemi started off his career with the youth team of the Canaries, progressing through the ranks before he was handed his professional debut against Colchester United in 2009.
The Sheffield Star claims Norwich City face serious competition for the signature of Adeyemi, with Ipswich Town also interested, and Rotherham United have been credited with a move for the midfielder.
The 25-year-old might be available on a free transfer, with his contract with Cardiff City set to run out on June 30.
Adeyemi declined an offer from Cambridge University to pursue a professional football career, having achieved three A* grades in his A-levels at Norwich School.
He has also played for Bradford City, Oldham Athletic, Brentford, Birmingham City and Leeds United.
