Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Transfer Target Urged To Remain At Everton
Published: May 14, 2017
Ross Barkley has been advised by teammate Morgan Schneiderlin to sign the new deal that he has been offered by Everton, amid speculations linking him with an exit from Goodison Park in the summer.
The Toffees manager Ronald Koeman issued a one week ultimatum to the England midfielder to commit his future to the club or he will be sold a year before the end of his current deal.
''We know the contract is between him and the club but what we can say is he is still working hard, has a good attitude and is very happy in the dressing room," Schneiderlin told Press Association Sport.
''We will see what is going to happen. We can't say too much on whether he will sign the contract or not - we want him to sign but it is his decision.
''Hopefully he will make a good one by signing the contract.''
Barkley, who has played nonstop at Everton for the past years 12 years ignoring his loan spells, is on the radar of Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the summer transfer market.
