Dinamo Zagreb, Al Ain, English, German Clubs In Race For Kayode
Published: May 16, 2017
Croatian powerhouse Dinamo Zagreb have identified Nigeria international Olarenwaju Kayode as a transfer target in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Croatian media Sportske Novosti says Al Ain are also interested in his signature, but the Austria Vienna frontman prefers a move to the German Bundesliga.
Kayode's Croatian teammate Ognjen Vukojevic confirmed the interest from Dinamo Zagreb, stating : ''Kayode and I are good friends, so I say that if Dinamo want to take him to Maksimir they have to hurry.
''I know that two or three clubs from Germany and two, three clubs from England are interested in him.''
With 16 goals from 31 league appearances, Kayode has a very good chance of finishing the season as top scorer, and more teams will join the race for his signature.
The 24-year-old is contracted to Austria Vienna until the summer of 2019.
