Super Eagles Invitee Awaziem Dedicates Cup Final Goal Against Sunderland To Deceased Mom

Super Eagles invitee Chidozie Awaziem was thinking about his deceased mother and aunt after netting in the Premier League International Cup final against Sunderland on Wednesday night.
In a 5-0 win, the Porto defender wrapped up the scoring nine minutes into the second half when he peeled away at the far post to place a header beyond Black Cats goalkeeper Max Stryjek.
Writing on Instagram, Awaziem said : ''DEDICATE THE GOAL AND THE CUP TO MY LOVELY MUM AND AUNT...I LOVE YOU BOTH ❤️AND I KNOW YOU BOTH ARE HAPPY WHERE EVER YOU ARE...RIP😔😭😭I WISH YOU BOTH WERE HERE TO CELEBRATE WITH ME 😭😭😭😭😭LOVE❤️''
Awaziem has scored three goals in domestic competitions across all levels for Porto since his debut.
The highly-rated youngster has been called up to a Nigeria get-together in Corsica later this month.
