Official : Ex-Chelsea Goalscoring Defender Ayo Obileye Available For Sale
Published: May 18, 2017
Former Chelsea defender Ayo Obileye has been transfer-listed by Vanarama National League club Eastleigh, meaning he is available for sale in the summer transfer window.
Obileye joined Eastleigh last summer, and has been unable to break into starting eleven despite scoring important goals for the club from his defensive position.
Earlier in his career, he had represented Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient, Dagenham & Redbridge and Dover Athletic.
Born in East London, Obileye trained with the Nigeria U23 squad before their participation in the 2016 Olympic Games.
The 22-year-old models his defensive game after Ledley King and Rio Ferdinand, while his favourite Nigerian defender is Kenneth Omeruo.
