Chelsea Loanee Aina Reveals Abraham Played Key Role In Convincing Him To Join Hull City
Published: July 11, 2017
New Hull City signing Ola Aina has revealed that he discussed with England U21 star of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham before completing his move to the Tigers.
Abraham shone while on loan at Bristol City last term, and the right wing-back has set his sights on following the footsteps of his compatriot.
''Seeing my good friend Tammy doing so well in the Championship last season is something that motivates me to do the same this season here at Hull,'' said Ola Aina to Hull City's official webpage.
"I've spoken to him about the benefits a loan move can have and he always talks now about the confidence that last season has given him. ''
Aina continued : ''It was equally as good for his football and he says it has made him into a man really by moving away from home and living by himself.
''He's given me plenty of advice and I can't wait to get started."
Aina had caps for England's U16-20 teams before pledging his international future to the Super Eagles in May.
