Former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez says he's delighted to be the best paid player in the English Premier League.
The Chile international joined Manchester United in the January transfer window and is believed to be pocketing 500,000 pounds every week at the Old Trafford outfit.
''The pressure doesn't play against me, it helps me. The more pressure I'm under, the better I feel," Sanchez told Chilean TV.
"I feel like an important player at world level. Being the best-paid in the Premier League fills me with pride at being Chilean."
The 29-year-old Alexis penned a four-and-a-half-year deal with United tying him to the club until the end of the 2021-22 season.
In ten appearances for Manchester United in all competitions, he has scored one goal and provided 2 assists.
