New Arsenal Coach Begins Running The Rule Over Chuba Akpom
Young Nigerian striker, Chuba Akpom has returned to pre-season training with Arsenal for the preparations of a new season, it has been revealed.

According to  Jeorge Bird,  the 22-year old who spent the second part of last season with Belgian club, Sint-Truiden is back in training with the first team as manager, Unai Emery held his first training session at the club on Tuesday, July 3rd.

Akpom has long been touted for a crack in the first team during the Arsene Wenger days and having impressed with The Canaries in the Belgian topflight last term for whom he scored six goals, will want to create an impression as the new man at the helm prepares a team for the new season.

Super Eagles star, Alex Iwobi who took part in the Russia World Cup tournament has yet to return to club duties and will join on a later date while Kelechi Nwakali has been touted to complete a season long loan switch to Portuguese side, FC Porto.

The Hale End Academy product alongside Iwobi and Nwakali make up the host of Nigerian contingent on the books of the Emirates Stadium outfit, including the likes of Folarin Balogun, Xavier Amaechi, Bukayo Saka, James Olayinka, Joseph Olowu, Tolaji Bola and others.
