Published: November 22, 2018Lecce and Virtus Entella are reportedly leading the race to sign ex-Inter Milan Striker Ibukun Ogunseye when the transfer market reopens for business in the next six weeks.
The Olbia Calcio 1905 frontman has caught the eye this season, scoring three goals in eight appearances in the Serie C - Girone A.
TuttoC.com says Ogunseye's recent fine performances have not gone unnoticed, with Virtus Entella and Lecce ready to battle each other for the signature of the Italian-born Nigerian.
Virtus Entella stepped up their interest in signing the 23-year-old after he scored two goals against the club in a rescheduled league game on Wednesday.
Ogunseye came through the youth academy at Inter Milan and left the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2017 without debuting for their first team.
He was born in Mantova, Lombardy to Nigerian parents, making him eligible to represent Nigeria and Italy.
