Arsenal Coach Arteta Provides Fresh Update On Bukayo Saka's Contract Situation
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta spoke to the national press on Monday afternoon ahead of his side's Premier League game against reigning champions Manchester City and one of the subjects he touched on was the contract situation of Bukayo Saka.

The Anglo-Nigerian winger inked his first professional contract with the Gunners in September 2018 and the agreement between club and player will run out at the end of the 2020-2021 season if it is not prolonged.

Reports have emerged that Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation of Saka with a view to a move.

Arteta has revealed that Arsenal are working to tie down the Hale End Academy product to a new deal.

In quotes carried by Football London, the Spaniard said : "The club is doing what it has to do and holding conversations. Hopefully we’ll get a result."

The 18-year-old Saka has played 2,034 minutes of first-team football for the Gunners so far in the 2019-2020 season.
