Exciting Midfielder Anjorin Turned Down Bournemouth, Southampton Before Move To Chelsea
It has come to light that Anglo-Nigerian wonderkid Faustino Anjorin turned down possible moves to Bournemouth and Southampton before switching to Chelsea twelve years ago.

The Independent has reported that the Poole born youngster was scouted by the Cherries and Saints during his preschool years and rotated his time between the two clubs.

The one thing that worked in Chelsea's favour was that Faustino's dad Sheriff Anjorin relocated to Kingston and the midfielder was spotted while playing at a tournament in London.

"We got to the final and they enclosed the pitch with some sort of orange fencing so it felt like a little stadium," Anjorin said.

"I volleyed it into the top corner from the edge of the box. I’ll never forget that. A Chelsea scout came up to my dad after the game and started asking about me. From there, I’ve never looked back."

Anjorin recently made his Premier League debut for Chelsea in their 4-0 rout of Everton and appeared in the League Cup for the Blues back in September.
