Arsenal's first team underwent their final training session at London Colney in St Albans on Wednesday ahead of their eagerly anticipated Europa League semifinal second leg against Villarreal.

Nigeria-eligible striker Folarin Balogun is confirmed to have participated in the training session under the guidance of first team manager Mikel Arteta.

Gabriel Martinelli, Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe, Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka, Willian and Eddie Nketiah, who are all currently ahead of Balogun in the pecking order of attack-minded players at Arsenal were all spotted during the training session.

Balogun has been training with the first team on a regular basis in the last three weeks after agreeing to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium beyond the end of the 2020-2021 season.

The 19-year-old has helped Arsenal register five wins in this season's Europa League and has a goal involvement of three (2 goals and 1 assist) in those games.

Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, Tolaji Bola, Zach Awe, Miguel Azeez and Ryan Alebiosu are the other players of Nigerian descent eligible to be fielded by Arsenal in Thursday night's clash against Villarreal.
